Jessica Durdock Moreno joined Long Wharf Theatre in 2022, where she recently curated the exhibition Invitation to Engage: 60 Years of Long Wharf Theatre & Beyond at the New Haven Museum, which served over 700 New Haven area students and over 60 New Haven area educators over the course of one year through curator-led tours and professional development teacher trainings. A certified Critical Response Process facilitator trained by Liz Lerman and John Borstel, she focused her CRP research on disability accessibility in theatermaking, in which she considered the possibility of consent-based, anticapitalist, and emergent feedback processes as assistive technologies. In 2023, Jessica served as the Neurodiversity Consultant on New York City Center’s Encores! production of The Light in the Piazza directed by Chay Yew. A NeuroQueering theatermaker, she founded Pale Horse Craft, an award-winning Neurodiversity- and Learning Disability-centered practice, production, and performance container in 2019. A former professional modern dancer, she is currently working with choreographer Aubry Dalley on a new dance that examines the intersections of identity, America, ableism, and Autism. Recently, her play New Canaan was selected as a finalist project for the 2025-2026 Drama League Next Stage Residency. Jessica serves as the vice president of the Arthur Miller Writing Studio board. Columbia University (BA, magna cum laude); NYU Tisch Department of Dramatic Writing (MFA, John Golden Playwriting Prize).
