Emma Joy Hill is the Interim Director of Marketing & Communications at Long Wharf Theatre, with a background in marketing strategy, audience engagement, and brand storytelling. Her work spans influencer relations, business development, and project management, all rooted in a commitment to expanding the reach and impact of the arts. Emma is also an accomplished playwright and theatre artist whose work has been developed and produced nationwide. With a foundation in human rights advocacy, her artistic practice explores the intersection of art and activism, using storytelling as a vehicle for change. She also serves as a Professor in Playwriting at Southern Connecticut State University.
