Play Club: A SHERO'S JOURNEY

About Play Club

A book club – but plays! Join Long Wharf Theatre’s Artistic Associates Cheyenne Barboza & Kate Moore Heaney, along with guest artists, as we discuss a featured play each month. Play Club scripts dive into Long Wharf Theatre’s archive as well as provide a glimpse into its future. Come join this virtual discussion with fellow LWT theatre lovers from the comfort of your own home!

We are delighted to announce that Play Club, where Members and our artistic team discuss the plays close to our heart, will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 PM EST. Registration opens on Friday, October 28.

About the Play

Zoila has had her entire life planned and laid out for her by her family, and society. She finds herself at a crossroads when she falls in love with a friend from the past. When tragedy hits, she decides to risk it all. Leaving everything behind, she meets two ancestral figures and together they embark on a journey that makes Zoila question everything she was ever taught.

This is an exclusive member event. Not a member? Become one today!
