Library Partnership
We are proud to partner with the New Haven Free Public Library. Key to our partnership is the Free Theatre Pass Program. NHFPL library cardholders can reserve passes for original Long Wharf productions at no cost by visiting their local library. Enhance your theatre experience with our digital micro-branch, featuring curated books and resources related to our current shows. This partnership reflects our commitment to making the arts accessible to all members of the New Haven community.
Reviving Accessibility Through the Arts
The Free Theatre Pass Program, a cherished initiative between Long Wharf Theatre and the New Haven Free Public Library (NHFPL), was originally established before the pandemic. After a temporary hiatus, we're thrilled to bring it back, offering new and enhanced opportunities for the community to engage with the arts.
Purpose and Impact
Bridging Communities Through Free Theatre Access
At Long Wharf Theatre, we believe that theatre should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial barriers. The Free Theatre Pass Program is a testament to our commitment to this mission, focusing on reaching underserved communities within New Haven. By collaborating with NHFPL, we ensure that more people have the chance to experience the transformative power of live theatre.
