PLAYERS' BIOGRAPHIES Michael Countryman Mr. Countryman is pleased to be returning to Long Wharf Theatre. Previously he was seen here in Down the Garden Paths, Bullie's House and The Common Pursuit. He has appeared on Broadway in Night Must Fall, Holiday, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, A Few Good Men and Face Value. Numerous Off-Broadway credits include Trumpery and The Bald Soprano at the Atlantic Theater, The Butcher of Baraboo (Second Stage), Mary Rose (the Vineyard), Dedication and The Stendhal Syndrome at Primary Stages, House and Garden and Nine Armenians at MTC, The Clearing (Blue Light), All in the Timing (John Houseman). He received a Drama Desk nomination for his work in Out! and The Common Pursuit. Other regional credits include world and American premieres at Hartford Stage, the McCarter, George Street Playhouse and the Guthrie. Film: P.S. Angela Lin Ms. Lin is thrilled to be making her Long Wharf debut with Shipwrecked! She most recently made another debut, on Broadway, as Miss Price in Coram Boy. Other New York credits include Sake with a Haiku Geisha (Gotham Stage), Nu Shu (Manhattan Theatre Source), and readings and workshops at Second Stage, MTC, Lincoln Center Directors' Lab, Partial Comfort, and Target Margin. Some of Angela's favorite roles include Viola in Twelfth Night (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and Repertory Theatre of St. Louis), Alcyone in Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses (Pioneer Theater), Belle in A Christmas Carol (McCarter Theatre), and Gigi in Miss Saigon (Gateway Playhouse) On TV, Angela was Beitris Lee in FOX's "The Jury," Wendy in CBS' "As the World Turns," and can still be seen on cable at obscure hours of the night as sassy R.N., May Lin, in Miracle Dogs with Stacy Keach. In 2008, she will be making her big screen debut in the indie-film, My Life. And, if you're visiting London, you might see her HSBC Bank commercials.
