See me I am strong
I am quiet but never alone
I'm shy once we first meet
Over time you'll see me
A girl with eyes of green
I'm kind and nice and sweet
See me, my heart so strong
See me, my heart so fragile
See me heart so receiving
See the friendships I'm needing
Fears of hurt and pain
I'll get over them one day
See the smile on my face
It's my hope it brightens up your day
That's all I have to say

See me, while I'm still me
See me, while I'm still a name
before long, it won't be the same
I'll trade my tag for a badge
And you'll forget, that I ever came.
See me now that I am black
Though not famous, I'm no Shaq.
See me now that free
See me while, I still see me
Not too bright, but not a dunce
Made the honor roll more than once
But put a math problem in front of my face.
And find, that I'll increase my pace.
It's hard to give reason, when you don't have any,
to show why you deserve attention
among so many.
But I'll try.

kind of skinny looking smart.

I am a creative thinker with a
lot of good ideas and opinions to express. When
you see me you see a kid who might be
causing trouble. You see me as a kid who
will be working a minimum wage job all
my life but I know there is more to
me then the eye can see you just
need to look beneath

Hear me I have a beautiful voice.

Watch me I can dance.

Some people in the world are bad are good
there are people who express what they feel for you
who look in your eyes and tell you the truth

See me aggravated and frustrated in no mood to
be bothered.
See me shutting closing out not caring about the doubt
of where my life would go not caring about
what take me away.
See me composed and trusted but to come to a
point in my life to just let it go
See me pleasantly plumped with short cranberry
hair 17teen a worthy child of two people who don't
understand the mind state of a frustrated
seed they created.
See me a not selfish with money person and
if you need it I got it person a down
sometimes up person that knowing to put her
feelings or let them out too.
See me reach beyond my problems and
never want or need for anything.
