What has to be included in my application packet?

• The Next Stage application
• A statement of purpose not exceeding 1 page.
• Resume
• List of 3 references OR 3 Letters of Recommendation

Can my materials be sent in separately, such as some through email and some through snail mail?
Due to the high volume of applicants and so your materials aren’t discarded, we ask that you send your application as one packet.

Can my references send the letters of recommendation separately?
Again, materials sent in separately will be discarded.

Is housing provided?
Yes, housing is provided approximately 1.5 miles from the theatre.  The current setup is 4 residents per apartment with separate bedrooms.  All utilities are paid.  Apartments are fully furnished.

Can I bring my cat Fiyero or my dog Techie?
Unfortunately, due to our leasing agreement, no pets of any kind are allowed in resident housing. 

What is the stipend?
Residents receive a $100 living stipend per week.

Do I need a car?
Having a car would be more convenient; however it is not absolutely necessary.  Go Green, get a bike! 

How long is the residency?
Residency is contingent on the 2012-13 Season, which has yet to be solidified.  Most residency lengths run 40 weeks starting mid to late August and conclude in mid to late May.

What about my Portfolio?
It is not imperative to include a portfolio, but if you feel the urge, please note that we do not return any materials received.
