The conference included several keynotes, including Mikael Dolsten, President of Global R&D at Pfizer, and Rick Klausner, formerly the Director of the National Cancer Institute. There was a special talk focused on the global health aspects of cancer from Julio Frenk, Dean of the Harvard School of Public Health. Also among the speakers, there was talk by Siddhartha Mukherjee, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning “Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer.” This far-reaching event, culminated in a performance of Aditi Brennan Kapil’s Agnes Under the Big Top.
