Welcome to Long Wharf Theatre’s blog, the Loading Dock! Throughout the theatre’s history, we’ve tried to communicate with our valued patrons in a variety of different ways, through print publications like newsletters and and, more recently, through e-blasts and e-newsletters. We are exciting to have another new way to talk to you about all of the exciting work going on at Long Wharf Theatre.
Like any good publication, we hope the Loading Dock will primarily be about people – the people you see on our stages, the people who create the work back stage, the people who tend the institution, and about you, our audience. We intend for our blog to be a clearing house of information – the unique, the informative, and the inspirational. Check back often for photos, video, interviews and stories about the theatre.
We hope that, in some small way, what we post here will be an extension of the art, of the ethos of the institution, of the divine spark that brought everyone to the theatre in the first place. We also hope you’ll engage us too, sharing with us your insight into our work or letting us know about your personal experience at Long Wharf Theatre.
We hope you enjoy the new longwharf.org!
