THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Internships at Long Wharf Theatre offer recent college graduates and early career professionals the opportunity to work extensively in their area of interest in a professional regional theatre. Interns work directly with department heads and staff to receive practical training in artistic, administrative or technical theatre. The Internship Program is dedicated to fostering, nurturing, and inspiring a new generation of diverse theatre artists, administrators and leaders.

Internship benefits include:

  • Seminars and workshops led by guest artists and theatre professionals.
  • Complimentary tickets to all Long Wharf productions and the opportunity to attend other Connecticut theatres and special events.
  • A weekly housing stipend.
  • Affordable housing available through Long Wharf.

Full-time, full-season internships are available, as well as part-time and semester-long internships. College credit may be arranged with academic institutions.

Interns are selected by application and interview. Applications received before April 15 will be given first consideration, however we will continue to accept applications until all positions are filled.
